using cell sorter BD FACSAria

The BD FACSAria cell sorter sets a new standard for high-performance flow cytometry. Based on an new design in instrumentation, the BD FACSAria instrument is the first benchtop sorter that incorporates a fixedalignment cuvette flow cell.

Our BD FACSAria cell sorter can detect up to 9 colors, for a total of 11 parameters. Faster digital electronics allow for acquisition rates of up to 70,000 events per second.

 

Technical Specifications: 3-lasers, 9 fluorescent PMT, FSC and SSC:
- 488 nm (blue) Coherent® SapphireTM solid state with BD Octagon™ collection devices: detects 5 fluorescent colors plus side scatter 
- 633 nm (red) JDS UniphaseTM HeNe air-cooled with BD Trigon™ collection devices: 2 fluorescent colors
- 407 nm (violet) Point Source Violet solid state with BD Trigon™ collection devices: 2 fluorescent colors
